When Tammy Mazzocco started her real estate career as a secretary for a local commercial real estate company, her intention was not to work eventually into the sales end of the business. But that is exactly what she did, as she had seen people whom she knew get into sales and they had done very well, for the most part.
Tammy aligned herself with friend and mentor, Judy Gang of the Judy Gang Team with RE/MAX in Pickerington, Ohio. Pickering and the four surrounding counties sit just Southeast of Columbus. Tammy learned her craft rapidly and today is one of the more well-known and prosperous of central Ohio Realtors.
One thing that Tammy learned to do early on was to form the habit of setting goals on a daily basis. She likes to break the goals down into smaller chunks as they are easier to accomplish that way. Goals help her to stay on course and in that way she can accomplish more. Check out Ideamensch to know more.
According to Tammy, selling real estate is all about people. A good realtor has to be able to interact successfully with all kinds of people, or they won’t be able to do the business. They have to have a benevolent command of the process. A good realtor has knowledge that the average person does not possess and that is the key to becoming the expert that the client relies upon.
Spending time in the field with prospective buyers is the number one activity that is a must for any realtor, and that is where Tammy Mazzocco can be found most of the time. On most days Tammy is an early arrival at her office to get paperwork and details out of the way so she can get on the phone or meet appointments. Getting that bonding over a couple of days with clients looking at houses is vital to closing the sale.
